Loumi Skincare, deriving its name from the word "illuminate," sought to update their branding in a way that took inspiration from its namesake. They weren't just looking for photos; they craved imagery that radiated with vibrant energy, capturing their products in a burst of color. As their devoted content partner and photographer, I got to work. Let's walk through the entire process!
Strategic Insight Collaboratively, Loumi + I created a new visual moodboard for the brand to ensure we had a strong visual narrative to point back to for every aspect of their visual brand. This not only helped us for this shoot, but will assist future shoots as well.
Curating Creative Vision A shot list is more than just a checklist - it’s a blueprint for creative power. We infused each frame with purpose, strategically showcasing Loumi’s products with a balance of sunrise hues that ties in the namesake for their brand.
Talent Casting Models are a really important aspect of the final images, as they are directly representing the brand. I meticulously handpicked a diverse duo that embodied the fun, radiant energy we were looking for.
Props That Pop From sourcing to selection, I handpicked props that would enhance the product lineup, promoting Loumi’s visual brand to a new level.
Dream Team I reached out to my network to bring a great team together, filling in all the missing pieces needed for a successful shoot day. Everyone collaborated seamlessly together to create a set of images that we’re all really excited about!
Styling + Art Direction My attention to detail extended to styling and art direction on set. Through careful balance of lighting and composition, my assistant and I crafted images that resonated with the luminous aesthetic.
Real-time Connection Embracing technology, I made sure Loumi Skincare was in the loop throughout the shoot. Live updates and real-time views made them a powerful virtual co-creator, actively participating in the magic.
Post-Production Magic The journey continued beyond the shoot with meticulously retouching each image, resulting in visuals that really POP!
