SadieB Model Campaign

Now that we’ve established a great foundation with the hero + collection imagery, it’s time to dive in to the variety of model shots.

Let’s go!!

Having started on a really strong note with our first shoot, I was so excited to jump in to the next one! For this shoot, it was all about doing a rinse and repeat (see what I did there?) to make sure those strong brand tones carried through to the human element shots! We brought on a variety of talent with diverse hair colors + types who could dive in to the fun, scrappy environment. It’s time to highlight SadieB’s energy, dedication to community, and the quality of the product!

Set Up for Success

Since we had figured out all the overall brand creative direction for the first shoot, all that needed to be done this time was to apply that direction with the talent. I planned the same colored and gridded backdrops, and did my best to plan each shot by product, so that the hero images + model shots together would have color contrast when placed next to each other on site. This part of the process always takes longer than you imagine it will, but makes a big impact on the client communication and flow of the shoot day.

For this shoot, I really wanted to take advantage having talent on set, so a big variety of shots were planned. Group shots would highlight the collaborative nature of the brand, in shower-shots to excite the customer, hand shots to highlight product texture, and individual dry images of each talent to inject diversity and personality!

Did you miss the first shoot? Go back and look at the creative direction for this shoot, or jump forward and take a peek about how it all fits together! I won’t tell;)

On set, we could not stop LAUGHING. I am a big believer in being scrappy and making high end work in an efficient way, so for this shoot, that meant creating a creative solution for the shower shots. The talent all did an amazing job, and sure were troopers! This was a really fun shoot for BTS, because what we could see on set looked so different than how the shots were turning out! From the first shot, It was pretty magic. It all came together so well!!

Let’s Get Scrappy

Presto!

Just like the first shoot, these images landed on SadieB’s site and Target.com quickly. Check out how great the first 2 shoots look together!

This whole shoot came together amazinggggg. The brand really started to take shape with this second shoot which is always so exciting!!
